Today was a great day! Cooper came home with a bag full of cards that his friends made for him at school saying goodbye!! It made Cooper feel really good and very special! He is so excited about traveling to Alabama now...I think the cards have encouraged him! All the attention he is getting has been a good thing! We will keep them forever! *smile*
Also today, we delivered some homemade cookies to "The Hot-Rod Guys" up the street who fixed my windshield wipers and didn't charge me a penny!! We asked if they liked cookies...they said yes...and so we baked them some as a way to say thanx! They were so excited to get fresh baked cookies!!! I think the cookies made (((them))) feel special!!?? They are a kewl group of guys who are planning on setting up a hot-rod shop in East Atlanta! The garage made a big impression on Cooper, so much that Cooper has decided that he wants to build cars when he grows up! They had a super kewl little "hippie bus" at the shop that I would like to have!! *smile*

The image to the left is mine and Coopers "logo" for our artwork that I am hoping we will sell while in Alabama! I am still working on it, but this gives you an idea of what it will look like when completed! "Mommy & Me" will be an extension from my "Roadside Treasure Junkie" folk art line! We will (of course) be using recycled garbage and creating art with it!!! Cooper is working on a series with cats I am going to try to have screen printed onto T-shirts and sold at daycare's, churches and such! A friend of mine has a screen printing business in Waverly, Alabama! I am hoping he will hook us up!!?? This design will be used for our tags as well as the header for our flyer! The flyer will tell our story! I am hoping it will get a good response! Should be interesting and fun! I hope to make a little money??? We will see what happens...
Wish us luck!!!
